I think I know the answer but just want it confirmed by the 'experts'.
I have 4 Red Zebras (1 M & 3F). Two of the females are small but the other is almost the same size as the M...about 3-4".
For what seemed like a week, the M chased the bigger F constantly. Lots of shimmy-shaking going on between the two. Now, for the last four days, the F has all but disappeared in one of the caves. She rarely comes out to eat and when she does, she just spits out the pellets and moves on, back into her cave. I've watched her closely when she's out, looking for the 'puff-ball' look, thinking she's probably brooding, but if she is, her mouth doesn't look anything like my Electric Yellow when she is.
Is the Red Zebra brooding (would be her first time) or is there something else going on I'm not aware of? And..........your answer is??????
