beautiful tank Tim......wow is such a small word for that gorgeous monster....
i love the cyps and the Eretmodus....i have quite a few of those guys....
i don't know alot about them....but i have a few doing the wild thing here recently....are they mouthbrooders or egg layers?

Mouthbrooders - the cyps are maternal while the erets are biparental.

nice tank stand and canopy, good choice on the cyprichromis kitumba they are the best looking of the leptosoma

Thank you, I believe it was your pics posted in the HFB gallery that -at least in part - originally got me nto Cyprichromis

I'm guessing that's why this is in the guest bedroom and no other room that is not on the first floor!

okay....if those fishies are biparental then how confused am i going to be trying to watch for them to release them....if and when they do start holding....they just now started pairing up.... :doh:

Normally the female holds the first week or two I believe and if you are lucky you will see them swap... .after that the male holds to term.
