I think if we started judging everyones' tanks honestly, then there would be a lot more criticism to go around.

Jesper, I think it looks exactly how you described it would look, so I assume you like it. Thats all that counts. Its fish tanks people - not oil paintings.


Are you going to do a background for it later? Also, what type of lighting are you looking at?

First... please refresh as the second picture has updated in the list of 4

Second -- yes I made it.. then said okie.. after about 2 hours of looking at it, its not working the perfect way I wanted it.
The shelves needs to come all the way across which they are not and they are not high enough.  This will have to be redone.  More rocks are needed.  I need to find my last occie because its hiding very well :(

PS -- EK thank you...  I am with you... it does not look the way I wanted it

PPS the lights should be coming home with me tomorrow night.

I am going to redo the tank the weekend of 13/14 together with a water change and see how the fishes like that idea.
One major plus...  My last occie showed up after being gone for 5 days.. its the smallest one so I am thinking it has to be a female.    Hopefully because its only all new things are making her a little nervous..
adding some more and changing things again here in a little bit I hope things will work out better.  I noticed several things I made mistakes in.
I will be getting some more Mexican Pebble Beach rocks to decorate with in both this tank and in the 70 where my new trophs are going temporary.
I will be making several little changes in the next few days to resolve several irritating items with both tanks.

thank you all for your inputs..  I dont mind criticism, its the only way it will look better..   New light is on the tank.. so now the tank does not look near as dark as it used to...  I will take some more pictures soon :)

I take the shaking head from Jon is the same opinion then ?  dont mix the rocks ?  Well I am going to have to see if I can remove them from one side then.  They for me broke the tank up well on one side.. but in front of the over flow, they personally in my mind dont work.  I am going to fix that as part of what I wanted to do.
I will see over the next few days what I want to do.  I know the slate NEEDS to be fixed.. because its not working correctly.   I need to get my master aqua scaper Steve to come down one afternoon and help me out.

SWEET      i am going with slate in my 75g as the new rockwork, could i add enough slate in my standard 75g to make it look like that? if so please lmk. i am thinking about 350lbs.  wut do u think?
