Yeah I am selling separately.......the Ulwiles are separate from the Ilangis

The Ilangi's I will in no way part with since I know as soon as I part with them I will be stuck with a feeble size of a colony which is not what I want to happen...I paid a pretty penny to get the ratio that is there now and compared to anyone out there my asking price is far beyond reasonable.

Recently looked into adding a box of Ilangi's to the colony and the ratio was very horrible......5m:8f......I don't have that many males right now in my tank!

Okay, I took a bunch of pictures this morning, but I won't be able to post them until this evening. We did get the canopy in, a wicked moonlight, as well as a few new tank mates!

          I'll post everything tonight.

            Okay, here are some updates:

            We finally* got our canopy:

*Its sad that I say "finally" considering Truong at Xtreme was able to get it in only four days!

I had been wanting one of these from day one, an Odyssea LED moonlight:

Our old main Cichlid 30 gallon tank is now the Flowerhorn tank filtered by a Rena XP1:

(The two (2) Marineland 100 watt heaters have since been replaced with a single 200 watt Marineland heater.)

Here's what the original setup of the 30 gallon looked like before:

Our old Flowerhorn 20 gallon tank is now the Isolation tank filtered by a Marineland Penguin 200:

            My new favorite picture:

            And the new tankmates? Well....

Two (2) Tropheus Moorii Kambwimba Rainbow Reds!!!

Thank you! We have been talking about Honkzz RRs all day.. Two things are holding us back though, and for once money is not one. The first is that we don't want to add any more fish until we've given that tank a few more weeks to cycle. We really shouldn't have gotten those two RR's, but the tank levels have been perfect all week, and in a moment of weakness we caved.

The second is that Honkzz said that his are only eating flakes & no NLS, which would make feeding more difficult. Even if they didn't though, we're trying to show a little restraint and wait a few weeks.

Feeding issues is not really a problem.....simple task of weaning them over.

Honkzz, they're gone? Your RRs have been the primary subject of conversation all day! We went back and forth all day debating whether to PM you. Ultimately, we decided to wait, not for something better - but to be more responsible with our cycling tank. Honestly, if it was cycled, we would have probably snatched them up last week, as I was watching that RR Journal thread pretty intently.

We got those two at Xtreme from Truong. I want to say what we paid, but he always hooks us up, and I don't want him to lose money because of my big mouth.

Re: 90 Gallon Cichlid Tank From Beginning.. 56k WARNING!!!

                                Identity crisis..

                                Original idea:

Mixed African Cichlids (from all three lakes). This worked until we found the fish in the next picture..

                                Second idea:

Tropheus Red Rainbow Colony. We ended up with 12 WC adults in here before we realized we needed this beast.

                                Third Idea:

With the Red Rainbows in their new home, we needed some fish to fill this one. We added 8 WC Ikola at first, then though, why not add 8 more WC Moliro!

                                Final Idea: (hopefully..)

..Apparently I forgot the current tank picture at home (I'm at work today for Christmas, yay!), but I'll upload it this afternoon. Here's a shot of him in his old 75 gallon:

Flowerhorn Show Tank. My wife's biggest flowerhorn, Mr. Blumps, gets the tank to himself. We want to put a pleco in with him to help with the algae, but we just don't think he'll play nice.
