Yeah. Just like Sunny said, Houston is the Mecca for Trophs and Petros. You can find a large variety of species from members here or a few of the LFS

You should try and make this "meeting" of the Houston Tropheus and Petrochromis Club:

Ok so I've decided to use the 90 instead of buying a 55 just gonna build a stand for it but, now I have a brand new dilemma the 90 is drilled through the bottom which means no sand so what can I use for a substrate?

                          Re: Trophs !!! Maybe???

Most use sand for tropheus / petros. You could try to find a larger coarser grain sand, that wouldn't easily be sucked down the bulkhead hole. Maybe put a strainer on the intake?

Does everyone with a bottom drilled tank, opt for no sand?

Lordbarron, this may have been mentioned but what filtration will you be adding?

I believe, sunny has atleast one tank that drilled through the bottom. I think he runs his canisters through these holes.

I never knew that a drilled tank couldn't have sand as substrate. I thought there were plugs that could be used.
