Re: Finally started an Mpimbwe Colony

      Update:

My digital camera decided to stop working. So, instead I took some with my cell phone. I started with 15 f1 fry and they have grown relatively quickly. So quickly that the tank was getting too crowded so I went ahead and thinned out the group about 2 weeks ago. I sold 5 to a friend and kept 10 for myself. There's also still the WC Male (6") and the 2 F1 Juveniles (4"). I took out the holey rock in exchange for lace rock that I had sitting around. I moved the 55 out of my living room into my bedroom so that I can make room for the 150 (which is currently at my parents house). Since then, 1 of the smallest fry has mysteriously dissapeared. I never noticed any serious means of aggression or found a skeleton. Oh well, I hope to have the 150 painted, moved and set up by the end of December. I can't wait to watch these guys grow out.

                  Update:

Instead of painting the tank since it's already inside my apartment, I happen to have a friend who's father owns a formica company. He hooked me up with some matte black trim cut to fit over the existing oak trim. I also ended up ordering a new Coralife 72" Lunar Aqualight w/10k bulbs. Pics to follow this weekend.

I'm assuming you mean pics of it set up on the tank. I had a lot of stuff to bring back from Spring today, so I left the light at my parents because I couldn't fit everything in the t/a.
