It's cool. It'll be back to normal here a week or so. The trophs and petros have definitely appreciated the extra swimming space in the meantime. Just back and forth, from one side to another for hours.

Seriously though, it wasn't that bad. Just use a dust pan then siphon out what you cant get with that into a separate bucket. Took about 10-15 minutes.

Having some aggression issues with two of my male petros. I'm going to try to pick up some more females soon to smooth everything out. Also plan to add a few more K4's and swap the 10k's out for some 6700k bulbs.

love the two rock pile look!

the three rock pile look was a little to much for me.

Do those rocks have a green tint to them or is that algae? They look like rocks in underwater pictures of the lake.  8O

I've had it like this for awhile before I took the sand out. The rocks dry look have more of a greyish/charcoal color to them, but under the 10k's they bring out this green hue.

imo it needs a substrate, bare bottom tanks just dont look right to me ... but nice fishies and rock piles. btw how did that big cak sneak in there.
