A lot of the people on there are hardcore fish lovers. Buying a fish without doing research is dumb. You wouldn't buy a dog without doing some research now would you? And the fact that large fish living peacefully together doesn't mean anything when they're eventually going to be stunted. I will admit that some of the people on there are ***'s, but you cannot believe how many times people post threads about "My Aro wont eat".. or "my fish are sick/dying"! It gets really ridiculous. There are plenty of experts on there, especially Li(The site creator) and the other mods. Don't let a few bad apples spoil your experience with MFK.
