You have just described just about everyone's tank or setting on this forum and probably the majority in this hobby.

Here's my view. Intentionally putting a weaker fish in a tank with a much more aggressive fish is ridiculous. I used to raise and breed pit bulls, and I was good at it. I know people who fight them for more money than a colony of the rarest petros cost. The technique to get them trained to kill was to starve them to make them hungrier and lighter on their feet. I know when Im hungry, I get upset easier. They would release the pit bull on a helpless goat or lamb and let them taste the blood and reward them with a bloody piece of raw meat. Understocking is ignorance indeed, but to KNOW what a fish or animal is capable of and to actually do things to intentionally make the fish become more aggressive is inexcusable. To understock a tank doesn't mean that it's certain that the fish will kill each other. To put a gazelle in front of a starving and capable lion is sure death for the gazelle. Just my opinion.

I've kept WC macro kpilis. They are not that bad....

I've even bred from a single pair in a 125g.

I can honestly say that My WC Macro Kipili Male was alot worse than the BG you saw in that video. From the stories and first hand experiences.
Murdock will tell you about the Kipili as I got the Male from him, and he has overstocked tanks.

As far as understock goes, I currently have in a 135 gal:
    1 WC Ubwari - 5.75"
    6 F1 Kipilis - 4.25"
    6 F1 Sangala - 2"

Running this setup for a while now.
No casualties nor signs there of and that is under stock compared to most folks opinion.

    soooo....!?

However, I got something up my sleeve with a few Petro variants and hopefully a bigger tank.

I do have the Macros antagonizing the Ubwari, but that is just tag your it games.

    Hope this helps.

Those variants aren't known to be stone cold killers... this would be an example of specifics.

LoL, I am not one to critique anyone and I refrain from doing so due to my own guiltiness. BUT if someone is gonna preach morals I would be quick to point out their own flaws to accompany the wrong doings.
