    Definitely appreciate that feedback.

What specifically is the drawback to the stunners?

Really leaning towards some Ecoxotic Stunners. Thought I might try a 24" 445nm ("Royal Blue") as a moonlight, and if I thought it didn't illuminate enough I could buy a second 12" or 24" as appropriate. Depending on how happy I am with that, I would eventually replace my dual T5HO fixture with the 48" 8000k or 10000k?

I'm big on having individual power supplies (or an integrated timer - yeah right), so that the Day/Moon process is not manual.

Crystal clear. Has me shopping for LEDs. Shadows look amazing even when just playing with my LED flashlight!

That's how it is with my 3 BN plecos. I didn't even know if they were all still alive until I pulled all the scaping out yesterday. Still, they tried to hide around the filter piping. Shy little critters, they are.

    Thanks

I found my pleco! In the 48+ hours I've had him, I've seen him for approx. 45 seconds.

In the end it all boils down to what your gonna like to see in your aquarium. You gan always tie the java you have in there to it and try to get it to grow over and around it.
