Who said you need more than one tank for trophs? I never pulled fry and always left them in the main tank.
-
yes indeed. but i dont think i want to go into the breeding area. the better half is not allowing me to have that many tanks. with what i have she isnt happy. ofcorse they are in the middle on the living room, but we are at a 1 room apartment at the moment.

Starting with fry and watching them grow and color up is pretty rewarding

LOL i like your comparison. but your right trophs ar way more active. angels are passive. trophs are colorfull, angels are to me more eleant with the longer fins and fancy vail. trophs are little more at the initial invest while angels are cheap. i dont think im ready for an altum jsut yet. i would say my limit per fish would be about $10 a piece.

Depending on the person... trophs are more hustle and bustle, discus/angels are more kick back and sippin wine.

Three massive mouthfuls!
90% weekly waterchanges is really allowing these guys to thrive in the 30g Long.

I love trophs and the husbandry of them, they are what spiked my interest before and what got me back into the hobby as of recent.
This colony I really never wanted to part with and when the chance to get them back into my possession surfaced it was what I needed to get back in.
