There are a lot of tiny tiny snails living in my cichlid community tank. When I clean my eheim filters, I found a lot of them at the bottom of the filter or on the coarse pad. I suspect them might slow down the flow of the water through the filter. Is there any safe way to reduce or remove them without stress out my cichlids?

I use both canister filters and udergravel filters. Will assassin snails work?Comment
