I was looking at your thread just for reference and caught this post. What were you thinking of doing next? In terms of functionality (breeding) how has this current setup worked out?

Breeding has never been a factor in the rockscape but in none has it hindered breeding any.

Since I moved them (first of Nov.) I have pulled about 70 fry.

Next scape will probably depend on what rocks I am able to find but I know I want something that will dwarf the fish to make the tank look bigger... also I have plans for a 10ft so the rocks will need to fill that tank as well.

Have you seen Dan's Front/Lab tank in the in the back? The first thing I thought when I saw that was that it dwarfed the fish and looked very cool.

It's actually Java fern but have since removed it.

I see. Was it for the trophs to graze on? or just for aesthetics?

Actually it was in my betta cube but after fighting him he died so the plants needed to be put somewhere till I got rid of it.
