I like stacking rocks. I start with 3 big base rocks. for the bottom. One in the middle and 2 that are just a few " off the sides. I make sure I have nice flat rocks. Also I make sure no rocks are touching glass.

yeah you should start you own little journal thread and just update as you progress. I did that with my 210gallon and I just updated it tonight with pics of my rock work.

Finally! I have rocks in my tank! After about a gazillion tries, I finally got rocks in the tank in a manner I'm willing to live with. It's not great, but it's better than what I came up with before.

Now to put sand in! I am soooo thrilled to finally get the rocks finished!

I just did it again. I stacked them on the floor and thought I had it figured out, but when I tried to put them in the tank, you'd swear the rocks changed on me! Now I'll have to pull the rocks back out and try it again.

I think I just developed a new exercise program!

Yes, I could use help. I've been at this for over a day, and I'm still sitting here with a tank full of water and a floor covered in rocks. I can't seem to get it right.

I had a layout in mind, and both problems happened. It didn't turn out well because it just won't work and I couldn't get the rocks right.

The rocks looked like a mess. They didn't look natural at all. Too many rocks turned too many ways. I keep trying, but I just can't seem to get it to look good.

But there is some good coming from it all. I think I'm gaining muscle from moving these rocks around so much!
