I only have chipimbi reds.....and yeah their cool......I just cant say I dislike any fish....they are all special in their own way....but my fav are still central american cichlids.....followed closely by a close tie of tanganyika and south americans.....

My wife said they were like a busy apartment complex, somebody is always moving around. She is more partial to my frontosa because the are so graceful. Ive only kept trophs and petros for a couple of months, but what got me hooked was their ability to interact with us. They are like a puppy dog, everytime you walk into the room they are there to greet you. It really amazing to see a colony of fish come to one corner of the tank saying FEED ME, FEED ME NOW. Ive kept alot of different fish, these are ones that are staying.

I agreed with geoff, i started out my first 10 gal fish tank 1.5 yrs ago. I just got rid of my couch for another troph tank and now i have 210 gal, 110, 100, 75, and 3x 10gal. So becareful with your funiture if you're into troph :)

But instead of having troph rights groups, troph pride day, and a march for trophs, we have eletism, mafia, etc.

Ask Geoff.. has he owned anything but Trophs in the last 10 yrs ? He has been hooked line and sinker... You will not see him ever move to anything else. He has seen the Troph light and is not willing to change. This is what I meant... :) :) :) :) :) :) and you cannot make me change my mind

Nick you more than anyone else I know should understand, once you change your direction in your life, changing it back would be difficult. Some have just not seen anything else in their eyes and would not want to change.
