Well I lost my male just the other day about two weeks ago I noticed after feeding there was a white mucus and little white particles floating threw the water and i couldn't figure out where it came from until the next time i fed

well I watched them for a while and then I saw my male flare his mouth out and look like he was coughing then he threw up all this white mucus and white crap which looked like mostly digested Dainichi well I figured maybe this will pass and waited till the next day and the same crap happened so i did some googling and talked to some people and the only thing I think it could of been was a parasite so i got him out and put him in a q-tank and treated him with some general cure as well as the main tank but every one else was fine anyways he was not eating I would drop pellets ,shrimp,silver sides and even live feeders and he would flare his mouth like he was gaging and wouldn't even look at the food he lasted about a week and a half and then finally let go ...

well now that he is gone the females are going ***** syko and going at it
so i might be looking to get rid of them......

update well i think i have gotten rid of the ick i will probably do 1 more treatment tommarow to be on the safe side but for now i have added salt and the temp is at 86 so hopefully everything works out

also has anyone ever seen fish vomit or regurgitate every once in a while one of the fishes spit out these little white gooey balls the size of sand grains and that's the only thing i can think it is
