LordBarron7692 I bet my fish history is similar to others. I have been fascinated with fish keeping since I was a teenager. Then in my 30's I had a pretty large setup but sold everything after a few years and didn't have any fish for a long time. Now I am back at it and this time I have a large building to use and I am having a ball with it. So there is always the future and maybe a property with a separate building or a large garage to create an awesome fish room. I think once someone has an interest in fish that it doesn't go away even if it is years between having fish. In the meantime a house with the maximum allowed aquariums is a great way of life!

The green terrors turned out to be pretty easy to breed and more mild mannered than I expected. Once I isolated a pair, the pair got along beautifully. They were only aggressive in a territorial manner and of course being protective of their spawn.Originally posted by troy tucker View PostI have bread Angels, Jewels, Kribs, Rams, and a few others. My Brasiliensis are a few years old now and I don't let them breed anymore. The pair you got from Morph. came from my pair. The terror I have thought about but never have had them.

I have 2 pairs for breeding and I have a few other unpaired green terrors. I might have another pairing soon. If I get another pairing I will sell them to you if you are interested. I have some fry that are getting pretty big too so I will definitely have more breeding pairs in the future. I have learned that with green terrors like some other cichlids, there will be only one dominant male in a group and he will be the only one displaying strong colors. But as soon as you remove that dominant male, another male starts coloring up. Very interesting!

They are still a long way to breeding. 3-5 years from 1"Originally posted by Ken B View PostThanks Ptran! I have 9 frontosa but I am thinking about selling them. They have not spawned yet. I think they are too young. The largest one is 4.75 inches. If anybody is interested I will sell them.

Great setup! It makes me miss my home town of St. Louis. We all had basements and unlimited space for a multitude of aquariums. Now as I understand here in Texas, the basement is in the attic...for hot water heaters, AC units and limited storage.
