  • My Rack !

Took a few pictures of my rack to share with you guy. Holds four tanks straight up. Tanks are roughly 30 gallons each, 24*24*12
First pic shows the full setup all lit up with both t-8 lights on and the mini led strips as well. Second pic shows an empty clean tank (new arrivals coming tomorrow) Third pic is my Telmatochromis vittatus shell tank. Fourth the dirty tank, is home to my Multifasciatus colony. And last the very bottom tank has my small colony of Brevis.

I finally got this thing all set up and its going to be fully completed tomorrow night with the addition of a new colony. This is a shellies rack, anybody got a guess as to what may be coming ??

Hope u guys enjoyed the pics. And yes ill post some of the new fish when i get them home.

I like the last tank most out of all of them, lots of open real estate.

Lol, thanks ek. Its got a bulb out so theres a different hue in color. And the rocks for the nice scaping are being bleached right now. Thats why its really open.

I think it's nice as it is, increased water volume with less rocks, more space to move around and plenty of sand for the shellies to move their homes where ever they like!

The dimmer lights look better too, the other tanks look like they're blasting with light and that's some nasty algae in the multi tank.

Yea i knoe ! Thats the harder one to keep clean cause they dig so much and make mini sand mountains. But really for light iv only got two 15 watt t-8s on each tank with a mini 12' single bright led stip. They are wired separately so i can have either one on, or both!

                Love that rack.

+1 on the open floor of the last tank, sometimes less is more.

And I suck at guessing...! What's the new tank gonna be?!
