          Yeah, I feel you bro!

          I pick the d90 for the built in wireless flash. So all I had to go get was a $250 flash and that's all I needed.

          The canon should be able to get wireless flash but I think you have to buy additional gear.

          Also, don't have to get a $500 macro lens. Looking into a cheap ($150) prime lens. Primes lens is just a lot sharper than zoom.

                yeah you gotta buy either a master flash or a wireless transmitter for a slave. i've got CC's master and slave right now but havn't had a chance to play with them yet.
                i was looking at some 1:1 2.8 macro lenses....what do you mean by prime?

                  ex: 50mm/2.8

                  Zoom...can zoom in and out.

                      ok just wasn't familiar with the terminology.

                      i was playing with a 50mm 1.8 prime lens for about a week and i loved it. probably gonna get one of those pretty soon.

                        yup!

                        That 50mm/1.8 is not a macro cause you can't get close to the subject and still focus. I'm shooting with that lens on the pictures I posted.

                        check to see if the lens is flat or curved. I think the flat ones show a lot more reflection from the glass. The curved ones are better for what we want to do.
