Metro is no that strong, so it's not going to harm them that bad. But I would only do 5 days if they are 100% better but then.

should i do epsom salt together with metro, or just metro alone....and how many mg per gallon do you recommend... i think i dropped like 4 or 5 250 mg tablet in the 75 today...

I always use epsom salt with my metro for clut treatment. If you have the pill form of metro just use one pill per 10g.

should i do a water change in the treatment or do one after the week of the treatment...

I like to do daily water change when treating with metro....but I have done one WC every 3-4 days and it still came out with good results.

they all look normal...i guess i just dont want to take the chance lol..

This is what I notice...Fist they act less active. Then they don't eat as aggressive, then white poo, then it spreads, then they may or may have scales popping out, then death. The earlier you hit them the better.

cuz i see like 1 or 2 of my ikola with kinda white poop hanging...its like a part of it is normal and a part of it is a little white...

Keep an eye on them. I have seen this before and don't think it's blout.

they all eat really good tho....and i dont see any fish trying to hiding in the corner or acting weird...
i hit some metro and some epson salt just in case...

Update: metro treatment still on long. Looks like 8 are now taking flakes!

I never lost a tropheus when using metro.

I did lost one tropheus after using clout.

But I think this fish had dropsy. Removed her from the main tank and treated her in a holding tank.

After 5 days the old girl couldn't hold on any longer.

Still got one not eating.

Saw it taking in a little bit of nori but didn't go after it very aggressively.

I'm picking up some hair algae saturday so hopefully she will take to that. if she does I'll mix some nori or flakes in there for her.

I do agree cout is better than metro.

I also think it's stronger. So strong that it can kill weak fish.

After Randell hit his macro greens with clout they starting fall out.

These fish are from the same group.

This is one of the reasons why I decided to treat with metro instead of clout.

I have 1000 count ready if I feel the fish need it.
