Probably going up on Saturday to hit the LFS if people are interested in meeting up.

just stick your air hose in cause it will be a long day and you can make sure the bag is full and dont feed a day prior to the action

You could, but I've had all kinds of gunk come out of those manual pumps. I don't think that stuff is safe for the livestock. Just grab the bag... It's not complicated and it's fast and easy. No need for all the extra tools, junk, etc.Originally posted by makatak123 View PostCould I use like a ball pump? The manual ones of course.
Here's a video on packing fish for shipping. Skip to 10:20 where he actually does the part where you grab the bag.

Never thought of that. I always just opened the bag and grabbed it to trap in air. Works like a charm plus it's quick and fast.

Just grab the bag fast. It's a good idea to tape the corners up to make the bag into a round shape to keep the fish from getting stuck in a corner.

This auction is the 1st I am actually going to sell a fish and I dont want to bag it wrong. I know that you should double bag it, but how should I fill it with air? Any suggestions?

Just order it one step more done than you usually do, and you'll be good to go.
The HAS auctions are great, I've attended multiple and have always come away feeling like i stole something! Thanks to Charles for spreading the gospel to me a couple of years ago.
Oh, and everyone who attends should give Marion a big thank you for the application she wrote that makes the check out process so easy!
