Still wondering why I bought those black and gold fish plates...those may show up again at another auction.

Did anybody find Jim's OB peacocks? Or were they swiped?

On that note, Did Jim notice all of the trash from McDonald's that I put in his car when we dropped him off at his vehicle?

I am glad that the driftwood was a hit. I still have some, but not enough for both FOTAS and HAS.

I had a great time and was sorry we had to leave early. I failed to stick to selling not buying but came home with some nice driftwood and calico BN's as well as some plants. And no one has mentioned it yet, but the Steak Dinner was GREAT! Looking forward to next time!

5:23 AM....getting ready for departure to Houston.

Those who live in Houston and say it is too far because it is across town make me sick!!!

Baton Rouge to Houston and back in one day is a healthy day of driving.

We have a small office in Baton Rouge and I've made the run many a time.

After Katrina hit I lived in BRL in a make shift parking lot camp for 30 days before moving into NO.

There were so many nice things at the auction- But I stuck to my plan of selling, not buying, and just ended up bringing one plant home (well, that and the bonus "mystery pond box" which scared the crap out of me when I got home and thought there was a dead bird in it!!)

I guess it's been so long since I've met up wtih you guys- I didn't really recognize anyone, so kind of kept to myself (except for lunch with Nick!).... I'll try to make it out more often :)
