How do the Bororas brigittae do in Houston water? Do you do anything to soften?

They color up more once you drop the pH. I have them in houston tap with a pH reducing substrate.

Those Paskai Rainbows were definitely amazing fish. Can't wait to pick some more up this week! Been meaning to post about them but keep forgetting every time I'm logged on. Lol

I've seen the ones at HAW. They are bigger than most.

It would a while before I order any. I imagine if you buy them all at once from HAW, he'll give you a little bit of a price break.

Call Houston Aquarium Warehouse... they generally have some. If not, I can order them.

I called them and they wanted 12.99 for the Bolivians. I thought that was a bit high, but maybe that is just the price. What would you be able to sell them for? I have 2 males already to I'm looking to get females so they can start pairing up. Also interested in 6 German blues.

Yeahhhhh they're a bit rough. My trio has been very tricky even in a pico tank by themselves. I'll start a thread for ya and you can check it out.

Agreed. As long as the other fish doesn't have long fins, you should be okay.

Hey Tim, can a pair of Badis Badis live in a planted 10g with another fish? I want to get it for my girlfriend's nano tank.

Depends on the fish. Those tiny things have been reputed to kill off bettas and gouramis more than quadruple their size. But other tiny non-labyrinth fish like chilis should be fine.
