How do the Bororas brigittae do in Houston water? Do you do anything to soften?

They color up more once you drop the pH. I have them in houston tap with a pH reducing substrate.

Also could I mix them with the sawbwa?

You can do anything you want to . . . if you set your mind to it.

I've had the bororas brigittae from Tim before and they actually color up pretty nicely after a little while. They seem to be pretty hardy fish. I keep mine in just regular tap water with tap water conditioner.
