The footing of most foundations is 16+24 with 12 "spread on 1/2 rebar. I think it can hold it.

In theory and probably actuality, you are probably correct. But id rather test it in a newer home instead of the one i'm in.

the problem is after a certain point the weight of a tank the support structure can withstand. just because you live in a home with a concrete foundation doesn't mean the slab cant withstand the weight. Take my home for example. I have two places I could easily place this tank. however the most appropriate location I don't trust simply because it is the dividing line between my house and my garage. the second location would be in my living room but I would have to move everything off of one wall and to the other. The only reason I trust it more it placement in the house. It's a more robust area of the house. The main factor is the age of my home (35). Not to say its weakening but I know the slab isn't as strong as one I could have poured today.

that's been researched too. total cost ( demolition,tank setup, divorce)...lol

In a few months everyone is going to be asking where's Beto where is he?

Response: I don't know but after his wife got back from her family trip she dug a really deep hole and put in a concrete patio. I haven't heard from Beto since.
