So does that equate to about 90% WC then? I'm curious, are you using chemicals now or charcoal water filter ?

I actually do more then 100%, I drain the tank till they are laying on their sides, refill, drain again and then start the filling.
I don't use any chemicals to treat the water other then my carbon bottle and do this twice a week..... wenesdays and sundays.

I'm curious as to why you would refill then drain again, what are you looking to accomplish by draining the water a second time?

I drain about 90% so there's 10% left. I refill only partial to maybe 30% and drain again.
The only thing these guys are spitting is massive amounts of babies and size so I imagine they are loving it!700g Mini-Monster tankComment

Still curious as to what is accomplished by the additional 30% refill and draining, it sounds to me like a washing machine cycle....rinse, fill, re-rinse, spin dry.....
