Thanks I am glad I finally got the tank balanced and hardly any algae left in there. The shrimp and Nerites are doing a good job. Except for all of the darn eggs they drop off.

i HATE nerite eggs, i pulled the nerites out of my tank because those eggs are unsightly and no one in the tank can eat them!!... wish my fish eggs were tough like that :)65 gallon - ADA 120p - planted
55 gallon - AGA standard - mix cichlid
30 gallon tall - eclipse acrylic - semi-planted

The nerites will eat the eggs every so often they will go back over the areas they laid eggs and eat them

That has got to be one of the nicest BT carpet I've seen. How much up keep is it? Seem like it might be a bit more than other carpet plants, but it looks good.Thanks,

Thanks andrew I preferably have to trim once a week but obviously I let it go since I dont have time sometimes to do that. But really they are easy.

Guess I was mainly asking because the ground cover plants I've been using don't require trimming at all, which is good for deeper aquariums which might not be so easy to trim near the bottom.

in the 90G I posted I am using dwarf baby tears so I dont have to trim especially since it is a deep tank
