  • Free planted 13gal aquarium full setup with shrimp and betta, need it gone today

Local pickup in southwest Houston, corner of 69 and the beltway. I really ought to be selling it because a lot of these components have decent value, but I really just want to get rid of it ASAP and selling might take longer than giving away, so it’s free for whoever can come over here and get it today.

    Included:
    -13gal tank
    • 8.25in x 24in x 16.5in

    -LED light
    -100W heater
    -Filter
-Sliding glass lid I made myself to fit the tank perfectly
    • (it has double-sided tape on top of it to keep my cat from climbing on top, shouldn’t be too hard for you to remove if you want)

    -A couple thermometers
    -Floating betta log
    -Plants
    -Betta (red plakat female)
    -Shrimp (wild-color neocaridinas)
    -Snails

    The LED light:
-NICREW ClassicLED Aquarium Light, 18-24 in
-I have this exact model on 3 of my planted aquariums, been very happy with it.
    -Worth $28 on Amazon:

    The heater:
-100W AquaTop Premier Glass Heater with Protective Guard
-All of my aquariums use either the 50W or 100W version of this heater and I’ve never had any problems with them.
    -Worth $16 on Amazon:

    The filter:
-SUNSUN JP-032F Internal Power Aquarium Filter, 92gph
-It’s a cheap filter but I have them in 3 of my aquariums and they do the job.
-Plus this one you’ll be getting is cycled so hey.
    -Worth $9ish on Amazon:

    Plants:
    -Water lettuce
    -Amazon Sword
    -Dwarf saggitaria
-A wad of some cool floating plant I’m not sure of the ID, probably crystalwort.
-I forget what else honestly, I planted everything over a year ago
-All of these plants were bought from my LFS a year or more ago, not sure of their initial origins.

Substrate is 2 layers, each 0.5”-0.75”:
-Top layer: Seachem Fluorite black gravel
-Bottom layer: Scott’s Hyponex potting soil (sifted)

I have too many tanks, I need to downsize. it’s a Walstad setup so the water parameters have remained pristine and all of the inhabitants are healthy. Very low-maintenance tank. Main maintenance needed is just trimming the plants when they get too crazy and water changes maybe once every 2 or 3 months. (like I said, Walstad so low-tech and low-maintenance)

    Thanks for reading :)
