A fish normally costs about $20 to $22 per inch for a wall mount. If you want a base (like my China Rockfish), there is a premium. My base was $100, which I thought was quite reasonable.

I now have seven mounted fish and plan to do one more soon. The fish include:

Northern pike (42 inches, Lake Dubay,Wisconsin)
Smallmouhth bass (24 inches, Kentucky Lake, Kentucky)
White bass (17 inches, Lake Livingston, Texas)
Red Snapper (36.5 inches, Gulf of Mexico, Texas)
China Rockfish (19 inches, Pacific Ocean, Yakobi Island, Alaska)
Yelloweye Rockfish (31 inches, Pacific Ocean, Yakobi Island, Alaska)
One-of-a-kind Yelloweye Rockfish - rare pigmentation, dark red (24 inches, Yakobi Island, Alaska)

My hobbies are fish keeping, fishing and cooking fish

31-inch yelloweye rockfish. The limit for out-of-state fishermen is one per year.

A scary looking Great Sculpin and a 5-foot 3-inch Pacific Halibut (135 pounds). Both caught in Alaska.
