Any advice is appreciated. I already turn the UV on and will try to treat it with Melafix.

Hello ptran. I just bough Melafix marine and Pimafix. I read online. Some people say it is reef safe. Others say their fish and inverts die because of it. I am very confused. Did you use Melafix before?

Or anybody has experience with such two treatment liquid?

        Thanks for any input.

I don't have invert in my tank so don't know for sure. Is there a quarantine tank you can use to treat him?

I just tried. Clown fishes seem to be nervous at first, then better. We can see what comes out later on. I am a beginner, do not have a quarantine tank. And the goby and pistol shrimp live in the cave, seldom come out. It is impossible to catch.

It is the third day using Melafix and Pimafix. Everything seems to be fine for now.

Have you seen any improvement on the wound/infection?

Not yet. It seems to be the same. I will keep an eye on it continuously.

It seems that Melafix and Pimafix does not work. The wound seems to be a little larger.

                        stop using it.
I my self have never liked using it.
