  • RO/DI Water Storage

I've been storing my 32 gallon Brute containers in my bathroom but it's to the point where they're getting in the way. The spouse is suggesting I move them to my garage. We all know Houston weather is ridiculously hot in the summer, I wanted to see how hot it got in a container. At the beginning of August I placed one of my containers in my garage to test out the temp. The temp stayed between 80-85 degrees. Is it okay to store water at this temp? Is it okay to use this water at that temp. when I do water changes? I went on BRS to see about a chiller but I don't have the funds to purchase one. Where do you keep your storage containers? What would you suggest? TIA!

I would just add the water slowly since it will be slightly warmer than whats in the tank. It shouldn't cause any issues besides temp

I thought the same Austy16414 but corals hate any type of change. I'm hoping this doesn't damage them.
