Lol most of my clicks just end up as blurs. These buggers are quick. I'll probably end up starting a thread to get some photography tips

Best tip I got was to use a LOT of light. Speeds up focusing and and gives better overall look.

That's actually the issue I'm having. I only have so much light in the fish room, so my shutter speed is super slow and can't keep up. What kind of lights do you use?

Do you shoot with your tank lights on? Or do you cut them off and use room lighting?

Tank lights plus added flood lights, spot lights, overhead flash, whatever I can get just for the photo shoot.

Finally found time to play with my camera today. Special thanks to Sunny for some of his shooting tricks. These aren't anything special, but much better than what I've been getting. Still a lot to learn on this

Looks good but there's a need more light LOL. What's the highest ISO you can set the camera? Higher the better

ISO goes up to 3200, but I was only shooting at around 1000

Go to 3200 till you can get more lighting, then you can drop it for sharper pics.

Kicked the ISO all the way up, with a shutter speed of 1/1000. Gettin' better!

Try not to use onboard flash

You mean look in to an external flash device? All I have is the pop up flash for now
