Custom Reeftank Sump Refugium R210 - $399 (Cypress)
Now I'm offering my Custom Sump Refugium R-210, the most compact Sump Refugium you can get for a up to 210Gallon or 220Gallon Reef Aquarium system.
It is suitable designed for Reef Aquariums up to 220Gallon and it does allow a Filtration Flowrate of up to estimated 1300 Gallons per hour (after piping losses) with brilliant results.
The Refugium is made out of a Brandname 40G Breeder Glass Tank, and Glass Baffles and optional Glass covers.
The smart Water Inlet design and arrangement of the baffling, combined with a 3stage Filtration chamber system allows every Reef enthusiast to run this sump with internal or external Skimmer, and as well much more efficient due to high oxygenated Water in the 1st Chamber where the Skimmer Pump will be installed.
The 2nd Chamber is intended for long term mechanical filtration media such as Bio Balls or Live/Dead Rock.
Reef Aquarium systems in the larger categories can normally not been operated without the use of many Filtersocks that get clogged all the time and are part of a huge Sump Refugiums. So that is not an option in my Sump Designs and it's well experienced that after a few weeks the mechanical chamber does an excellent job, collecting particles out of the Water within the Sump and not in your display tank.
The 3rd Chamber is the DSB/MUD/REFUGIUM Stage in which a divider baffle is installed to separate a remote Deep Sand Bed and MUD bed. In addition, if desired this chamber will come with a screen for avoiding entry of Algea into the Return Pump section, as well a screen that will hold POLYFILTER elements for temporary or permanent fine filtration as needed.
This Sump is designed in a way, that it allows the Reefer to drain the Sump to lowest level of the mechanical filtration chamber, without the risk that the 3rd Chamber with the DSB or MUD bed will run dry which is a big advantage when it comes to cleaning the mechanical filtration stage on an annual basis or as needed.
It is also considered that either the DSB or MUD bed can be individually replaced without running the other bed dry, by individual isolated sections in the 3rd Stage.
The Return Pump section can accommodate easily 3 MAG9.5 or similar sized Pumps. It is recommended to install 2 Return pumps in case of the failure of a pump, the Filtration system will continue running and allows sufficient time for maintenance/repair or replacement orders for the failed pump.

All materials used for this sump are Reef Safe and the Silicon used is a Brand name Silicon from an Industry leading Tank Manufacturer.
The baffles are implemented in the sump via airgap seams, which also allows the Reef enthusiast to cut out, modify or replace baffles if desired.
This Sump Refugium is made out of quality materials and fully out of glass on purpose.
