    Does anybody know if is possible to keep one healthy discus in aquarium by myself

    They are a schooling fish so they will be better off with others. The larger they get the more they dont have to be in schools by a partner is a good choice

          Angel fish are not docile. They are very aggressive eaters and are killers at spawning times.
          Discus as adults can be keeped alone but will not be happy.
          Nothing Kills Evil Like a Sharp Stick...

              Yeah angelfish will get to all the food before the discus and just end up stressing the discus out

                I do not know of any literature or sources that recommend angels and discus together in captivity.

                And I don't know of any one or any literature that would recommend keeping less than 5 discus.

                  I have a lone adult Discus (5-5 1/2")with some small dither fish. My Discus' mate died and I am either going to find a new home for my lone Discus with someone who has others, or have to suck it up and get him a tank mate.
