Ive kept a couple different kinds before given em up. Don't start with something boring looking that you'll loose intrest in quickly. Best advise I can give is buy from someone that knows there stuff. I'm no pro on hfb, but might wanna see about posting in the inverts section. Good luck to ya! -

Moss is the best plant for shrimp tanks. The other plants you said would be good too. But you really need moss for baby shrimp. I have some African water fern. I love thus plant it's very easy to grow in a low tech shrimp tank.Comment
