Just a dumb question since I have never painted a tank before. Why did you use roll on paint rather than spray paint?

I believe is because its easier to apply and less of a mess.

Roll on is easier to keep on the tank and off the trim and floor. It is also easier to keep the thickness consistent across the whole tank.

So here is my stand that is getting redone.... just for reference, it is 3 different colors, has 1 door (the other is inside the stand), has a golfball sized hole in the side, and is missing the middle support board between the doors in the front. Needless to say it needs a bit of work!

Good job on the fuge. Those lights look familiar. You test them yet?

Make sure to get some filter before the return so you can minimize anything going into the pump or tank.

And the sump was actually pretty easy... just a 40b and $12 in glass from lowes

Hung the leds over the 90 tonight. The 90 is the same height as the 120 so the light will work perfectly. Also got the return pump yesterday. So the tank is one stand away from being a true project.

Now next time remove or hide the glass cleaner when doing an FTS. Looks good otherwise.
