Tank looks great! I'm certain once they get a little bigger they'll be happy to help you rearrange it, lol. Multis are just endless amusement...

yup! grinding it up and they seem to be able to pick off alot of it. some of the food does get lost in the tank though, so i threw in a yellow shrimp to clean it up a bit..not sure what else i can do about a little leftover food lol.

Oh you have no idea how fast they work. They are the mini earth movers of fish !! But so cool to watch as males mature and they spit sand in each others spots.

Shellies are awesome and for a cichlid you can breed in a small tank and is happy they are terrific! Donovan and I will try and give a introduction to Tanganyikan shelldwellers at the next GHAC meeting

Its not that hard, give them a tank that suit their needs and feed them good foods and have some patience.
