      Yes.

They're kinda cool, but need a fairly deep substrate and an established tank. Don't expect to seem them too often after you put them in a tank.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Is a fluval edge a good aquarium to use for inverts?

I'm thinking about desk or counter top type set ups

I also have read that some snails need 20 + gallon tanks

I think it would make a great invert tank (of course everything would make a great invert tank). It depends on what type of inverts -- you'd probably want a larger tank if dealing with the really finicky ones (or clams). Just about everything benefits from more room, but I can't think of any snails that would REQUIRE big tanks. Tylos aren't small, (with a couple exceptions), but a couple are fine in a 5g tank.

Sorry to derail the thread. I've heard so many complaints about the edge tanks. Mainly the opening space being annoying. City pets are selling these nano tanks that are awesome! They come with the false back wall overflows and a light I think. Not sure if a filter is included. There's multiple sizes and the smaller ones are inside of that tank.

I'm not a hex tank fan but it might work for something like this

Didn't someone recently post pics of a nice hex?

The aquajapans are not hex tanks. They are cubes with a false wall overflow
