        Here's a quick update. You can see the fins beginning to form, and you can also see that it has grown a little bit in both length and in thickness.

          I had a bit of a scare last week. My ammonia levels were slightly off for a few days and I thought that might do it, but I got it all perfect again and he pulled through it just fine.

          The thing I've learned about having a developing shark in an egg is that it is all about water quality.
          A guy asked me some questions on it the other day and I simply told him "WATER QUALITY! You don't want anything to be even slightly off. Don't do anything at all in that room to jeopardize it. Don't spray anything in that room, don't cut a fart in that room, don't even tell a dirty joke in that room..."

            So guys, where in the Northern Houston (Near Humble would be nice...) area do you guys know of that carries rays? I'm on the look out for either a California ray or a Cortez ray, but haven't found any in months.
