This is more for how to resize your pics if you upload from a computer.

As far as clarity goes. Thats dependant on a few different factors. Are you using a camera or phone?

Ah ok, newer version I'm guessing.

This picture isn't bad. Are you concerned with why looks like an instill subject(fish)?

yes sometimes the pic look ok. but other times are blurred. oh ya the fish are not being easy models. LOL. also size of the upload, clarity of photo vs size of file.

How do you take clear photos?

Never are. I shoot an average of 300 pics in a session and generally only keep 30-50, and of those I only have maybe 15 extremely clean clear crisp shots. Practice and shoot a lot. If your camera has a manual mode, start playing with it. It's harder to shoot with to begin but after so long it begins to become second nature on when and what you need to adjust, be it exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, or ambient lighting.

Practice is the best cure honestly.

Alot of how a pictures looks has much to do with the way the images are post processed. Of course having a good image from a good camera will always yield a better final result, but every image can use some tweaking.

                            Please allow me to demonstrate.

Here's the original straight out of camera picture.
Its nice, and clean and properly light.... but a bit "dull and flat"

Below are some steps to process this picture..

This is what the picture looks like after a quick levels adjustment:
Notice now the contrast is increased and the dynamic range is reduced, making the subjects pop from the background.

                            .

Now, here it is with a little bit of sharpening to make the facials features like the eyes and nose and mouth pop..

                            DSC_7040_sharpen_imagel by HangTheMan, on Flickr

And here is the results of this 5 second processing..

                            DSC_7040_sharpen by HangTheMan, on Flickr

Of course, processing is only limited by your imagination and creativity and preferences.
                            You can add,

                            1: add layers
2: Apply gaussian blur to top layer
3: reduce opacity of top layer
4: use eraser tool to remove opacity from subject..
                            5: readjust levels.

And the final result of all that is a "Softened" image below with a dreamy background..

                            DSC_7040_final by HangTheMan, on Flickr

All this takes about 2 minutes..

                            Enjoy...

If I can help with anything or if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I don't know much, but I will share what little I know :)
