To me plants are just for aesthetics. I don't have any plants in my geo tank.
And now there are no live plants in my Geo's Tank. They have torn out every plant in the tank. Moved the sand arould to their liking.

They are still growing but are not as big as they should be at 9 months old.

Most geos come from blackwater habitats without any living plants other then floaters, I'm sure they like it better anyways lol. The geos are looking good, what are you feeding them besides endler fry?

        Thanks Roy...

They eat anything I put in the tank. They eat flakes, shrimp pellets, algea pellets, cichlid pellets, frozen and live shrimp. as a treat...
The Largest one is close to 5" but the smallest 2 are only about 2 1/2". I am thinking about taking the smallest 2 out and put them in another tank. To help them grow a little more. Any thoughts?

Up Date> My Geo's have started to breed. The 2 alpha's spawned Tue.s. They started wigallies on Thur. and Mom & Dad got real mean. I had to remove all other tank mates. I expect to see free swimmers today or tomorrow.

R it is a lot of babys. 100 maybe 150. I think it will thin out some as they grow. I also see a few endler fry. Momma & Daddy are not messing with...
