    Does anybody know who builds them that actually looks good like an oceanic stand

    You could diy a 2x4 stand and skin it with plywood. Looks pretty good if you know what you're doing

          i have seen troy's handmade stands. they are furniture grade and far better than oceanic.

              Stands can be expensive to build, but if you are good with building furniture it can reduce labor costs if done yourself.

                I am havin a tank 72x24x30 so the stand has to fit that and I am trying to keep the cost low as possible

                      Spent around $160 on supplies for mine so far and its just the bottom. 3/4" wood, 2x4, screws, paint, and other misc.


                      200 - African cichlids
                      72 - Salty Bow Front
                      33 Cube - community
                      10's - Freshwater Shrimp

                        yeah i dropped about two bills on my stand and canopy materials alone for my 75.

                          You're not gonna get an "Oceanic Looking" stand built for cheap, the material alone is a couple hundred dollars. You'd be better off slapping some 2X4's together til you can afford something better.

                            i kinda like the nice sheet over cinder blocks idea for a temp solution, although blocks are harder to level. maybe a nice sturdy 2x4 frame with some cool fabric draped over it. you could prolly do that for two bills easy.

                              My 75g stand was about $50.00
