  • New nano

Well apparently I'm already addicted to Saltwater. Took no time at all. Started a little 10gal in my bedroom.

    Here's where I'm at now.
10gal Tank with back painted black
20" Current Sunpod 70w HQI with led fixture
50w heater (if needed) going to run without it and check temps
Koralia nano 425 (might be too high but its what I already had, might trade down)
    Caribsea special substrate
Turning an old 30g top fin HOB to a fuge. I think the shape will work well. (pic below)

    DIY Fuge

Should I find myself a small clip on light for the fuge? It's just going to have Chaeto in it.

In terms of inhabitants, will be fairly light on the live rock, maybe 8-10lb. Couple small gobies. Not sure what corals, probably just zoas and polys.

Should have water in it tomorrow, just filling up my RO container now. Started it today so it's going a lot quicker than my last build.

Gobies tend to duke it out but not to the point where they kill each other. Just know with more then one goby you'll get aggression between them. Fuge light yes and some company makes a led fuge light but forgot the brand. I think it's finnex

            What's not to love?

            Slow grower = no dosing

Easy to keep and loves low light.

            Straight eat a full damsel!

I miss my old scolys. I'm still on the hunt for some big ones.
