The Fish Gallery's Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, May 19

Saturday, May 19th, The Fish Gallery will be having our official grand opening celebration! As part of the celebration, we will be having sales all around the store. Details on specific sales will be released as the date draws closer. Partnering with our grand opening, we will be having a charity raffle, with all proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Raffle tickets are $5. If you spend $100 in the shop (livestock, drygoods, etc) you will get 1 free raffle ticket to put into the drawing of your choice. Your ticket can be put into one of 5 drawings. Prizes are;
Aqueon 55 gallon deluxe aquarium kit
Eheim Classic 2215 Canister Filter
Fluval Profile 1000 Aquarium Setup
TWO Ecoxotic Par38 LED bulbs (1 winner gets both bulbs)

We have begun our Kid’s Corner Coloring Contest! Winners from each age group will be chosen after the grand opening. The Houston Zoo will be out having a membership drive, with proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Food will be available from Happy Endings Asian Fusion and St. John’s Fire. Already it is going to be a great day to come out and see fellow hobbyists. The tanks will be stocked and overflowing. Look forward to seeing everyone there!!

Think of it as a...1 year celebration.

And I'm really hoping the big tank is going to be there. Last I heard the insert was finished and the tank is being fully sealed. As for exact details... I just sell fish lol.

Woot! Sounds like it'll be a great day. Its too bad your monster display tank took so long to get finished, I've been looking forward to seeing that bad boy. I just watched the second season premiere of Tanked last night. I guess y'all should have bribed the fabricators with steak and beer to get them to put a wiggle on, as my mom used to say. So for the raffle, if I buy a ticket, I then get to decide which of 5 separate drawings to enter that ticket into?

I can't wait to see what great deals y'all come up with. Most people on here would walk over a dead body for some really cheap Purigen BTW--lol.

I'm not sure on the maximum age for the coloring contest. I know we have different age groups.

As for the raffle. You get to pick which prize your ticket goes toward. Within the last few days, most tickets are going into the bowl for the fluval profile tank.
