I believe the larger leaf you refer to is called frogbit. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a larger variety of duckweed, called Giant Duckweed (Spiroldela polyrhiza). It's not as big as frogbit, but it's larger than the common duckweed (Lemna minor).
