Salt for a fahaka puffer?

Does anyone use salt in there fahaka puffer aquarium? If so, what kind, and how much per gallon?

I dont use any. And I think fahaka is perfect fine with fresh water. anyone else?

You sparked my curiosity this morning so I have been reading around and the general consensus is they don't need aquarium salt regularly. However if sick or injured a few people use aquarium salt, not marine salt, however most medications work better i.e. melafix etc. Pm sent as well...

We use Epsom salt but only when he's overdone it with the shrimp.
