  • Can I put 2 Pea Puffers in a 2.5?

Is a 2.5 Gallon too small for 2 Pea Puffers? I have one hanging out and was wanting to do something with it.

Thanks, anyone know where I can get a Otocinclus catfish? it seems to be the only thing that a dwarf wont eat.

I picked up a Picotope yesterday from HAW. I am gonna try out something before i put in the puffers. I will have the Otto and a ghost shrimp in the tank. Hopefully they dont get in there and go crazy and murder them. But should they do that I wont be out a bunch of money.

3 pea in a 7.9 is ok if there are 2 females... anything more than 1 pea in a 2.5 is too much just simply bc you'll probably have substrate, equipment and other stuff taking up space and displacing the 2.5gallons available for water. Pea puffers have a high protein diet, if you want to put anything else in there let it be shrimps, that's if your puffer gets along with them

I gots me a 3 gallon. I may try 2. It's planted and the HOB's don't take up much room. I don't want him to get depressed and murder everyone. Maybe i can find a boy and girl. Then I can watch a fish get more action than me. I wonder if fish have to pay alimony...

I only planned to have 1 puffer with 3 ottos in my 7.9..

Puffers don't get lonely, they live solitary lives in the wild.

4 days in and Otto and shrimp are still ok. As are both puffers.
