  • ID this snake please Wild Caught

    Hi I just Caught this snake in the parking were I live I have no idea what type it is so I treat it with cautious haha let me know please

                  Yeah that's a small ratsnake. Let him go near your house and tell the neighbors not to kill it. Think of it as employing a personal pest control company.

                    That's exactly what I did, I leave him behind our house in the bayou, better small snake than rodents and roaches

                      he's young, too. I see these a lot at Armand Bayou Nature Center, when I volunteer there. They have a leucistic(Sp?) rat snake. Her name is Lucy and she's almost three feet long, now.
                      College = fishless for now. Vicarious living!
