I just noticed a few little white worms swimming around the tank. They are about as thin as a hair and a about a quarter of an inch long. Should I be concerned? Anybody know what they might be? Thanks.

Probably tubifex or something similar. I'll check around here on HFB and link some previous discussions we've had concerning them.

Basically, they're harmless, but do usually indicate a water quality problem. Most of the time that's related to overfeeding or too much detritus in the tank.

Try to up your maintenance a bit in order to get rid of them, and be sure that when you feed, there's not uneaten food left over after a minute or two. :)
