  • If there was a TAKO meeting, would you attend?

    Hi all,
I'm getting back into fish after 8 or so years away. I am sad that TAKO doesn't seem to be active now. I was wondering if there were other people who are keeping killifish and if there is interest in having an active club again. I realy enjoyed the meetings and fish shows TAKO used to have.

    Thanks for reading my post,

    Michelle Sykes

Cool! I hope so. I hope to find some of the people I knew 10 years ago. :)

Maybe, The only fish I am still keeping are the Fundulus Sp. that Pat Polski collected in Milton, FL.

My time has been linented, but I am out of work agin and could use some my time with fish peaple agin. It would take a lot off my mind.

Hi Doug, response has been slim. Those fish of Pat's do fine in Houston water, right? If so, I'd like to buy a couple pairs from you and see if I can keep them. I think it's great you still have some.

I would be interested in getting together for a meeting. I keep Nothobranchius and a few natives in my outdoor pond.

I love Nothos. But am not ready to do the RO thing again. :) What natives are you keeping?

Yeah right. You don't even go to GHAC meetings anymore coz you think I'm gonna molest you!
BTW, Hong told me you fell and hit your eye on the doorknob. Hope you are feeling better. :)

I keep my Nothos in a 10 gallon planted and just use distilled water for WC's. I currently have some Fundulus Chrysotus, Fundulus Notatus, and Lucainia Goodei. I have successfully kept Sheepshead in the past, but no longer have a brackish tank.
